Currently I am involved in the research of the N-acyl dopamine and other signal lipids (neurolipins) biochemistry and activity mechanisms in animal organism. In particular, I am studying the anti-cancer activity of these molecules (whether it is universal and what is its mechanism).

Scientific results
1. The characterization of N-acyldopamine matabolic pathways in rat liver, brain and spinal cord, as well as in freshwater hydra homogenate (http://goo.gl/Oifzb).
2. The identification of N-docosahexaenoyl dopamine in Hydra magnipapillata and H. attenuata
3. The development of an experimental system for the evaluation of peptide hydrolytic stability during per os administration. The system is based on the fragments of rat gastrointestinal tract.
4. A hypothesis on the existence of a lipid (based on N-acyl dopamines) subsystem of the cancer defence system in animal organism was proposed.
