The Department of scientific information of the Institute was organized in 1974. Activities of DSI are going jointly with researching subunits of the Institute. A staff of DPI scientifically edits and prepares layouts to print for the main part of books and collections (more than 40 so far) publishing by PH “Nauka” or printing subunit of the Institute. Bibliographic indexes of the Institute and its Filial papers (since 1988), theses of reports in winter youth scientific schools “Prospective sectors of physic-chemical biology and biotechnology” are publishing each year. Collections “New technologies”, collected theses of the Institute’s scientific conference (covers the memory of Yu. A. Ovchinnikov) and Russian regular symposiums “Proteins and peptides” are publishing once a year or two as collected materials of other international or Russian conferences conducting by the Institute. The Department always takes part in preparing materials of the Institute for Russian and international exhibitions. Besides the team of DSI does current work to composing informational references and different materials about the Institute’s scientific researches.
